Want to Take a Motorcycle Safety Course in Arkansas?

Motorcycle safety course

Riding a bike is exhilarating—but also potentially dangerous. Whether you’re a beginning biker or just need to brush up on your safety rules, we have some recommendations for you.

The more educated you are the safer you will be on the road. At Law Tigers, our team of motorcycle attorneys highly recommends taking a motorcycle safety course every so often. We’ve gathered together a list of great options below to help you find one in Arkansas

1. Rock City Harley-Davidson Riding Academy

The Harley-Davidson Riding Academy in Little Rock offers courses for everyone, including beginners and experienced riders.

The New Rider Course includes certified-coach-led classes about accelerating, shifting, turning, braking, skidding, and maneuvering around obstacles. To attend, you must have:

●        The proper documents: Before registering, you should have a driver’s license or learner’s permit and experience riding a bicycle. No motorcycle experience is required.

●        The proper gear: You should bring a long-sleeve jacket or shirt, long pants, gloves, close-toed shoes, a helmet, and eyewear.

The Skilled Rider Course will help you learn how to control the bike at low speeds, swerve or stop with ease, maneuver around curves and objects with limited space, and master risk management. To take this class, you need the same gear as above, in addition to:

●        Motorcycle license, endorsement, or permit

●        Valid motorcycle insurance

●        A street-legal bike
