The Biker Bars Chicago Riders Love

Biker Bars Chicago

Bikers in Chicago want to be able to stretch their legs for a bit with a juicy burger, beers on tap, and a round or two of pool or darts. A live band is always awesome, but a jukebox will fit the bill just fine for some good road tunes.

The best biker bars are a little divey, a little different, with a great food selection and an even better choice of drinks. Cold beer and hot wings will make any of these bars worth multiple visits.

Twisted Spoke

The Twisted Spoke boasts over 190 beers, any of which you can enjoy on the rooftop patio. It also features the widest selection of whiskeys in Chicago and an assortment of “best in Chicago” awards accumulated over the years. The place has won best burger, best barbecue, best outdoor dining, best neighborhood bar, and best cheap eats, among several others.

The Twisted Spoke opens the beer garden on the roof during the summers. There, you’ll find largely functional picnic tables, flowerbeds, and some patio umbrellas to offer additional shade so your beer doesn’t get warm too quickly during the steamy summer months.

Visit the Twisted Spoke at the corner of Ogden and Grand Avenue for Fatboy burgers, onion rings, wings, rib tips, and cheese curds. On weekends, the kitchen staff serves a “Bodacious Biker Brunch” with bloody Marys, French toast, steak and eggs, buckwheat pancakes, corned beef hash, and multiple types of scrambled egg options.

Fat Daddy’z Bar & Grill

Visit Fat Daddy’z Bar & Grill for a relaxed sports bar and beer garden experience. Burgers and wings are staples of the menu, and you won’t want to pass up a few rounds with your buddies at the bar. Find Fat Daddy’z on Center Avenue in Summit.

Home Stretch Inn

The Home Stretch Inn has been serving everyone from bikers to families since 1994. They pride themselves on giving every customer a down-home family warmth, with owner Myron hosting a weekly Sunday ride.

Stop by for burgers, wings, slots, pool, the jukebox, and more! The beer is cold, and although the Home Stretch doesn’t boast the most comprehensive assortment of drinks, you’ll find the staples that you expect, including Jack, Jim, and several options for rum, tequila, and vodka. Find this treasure in River Grove!

Connie’s Grove Inn

Look no further than Connie’s Grove Inn for an old-school biker bar with an outdoor entertainment stage. Open since 2003, Connie’s has offered local bikers a place to rest for nearly 20 years. Food offerings include burgers and barbecue, with a standard selection of beers and shots.

Check out Chuck’s Outdoor Bar at the back of Connie’s for all your food and beverage needs while watching the live show at the stage.

Delilah’s

Delilah’s offers visitors a wide selection of beers on tap, bottled beers, and whatever spirits you’re looking for, particularly for whiskey. The main bar is downstairs, with the upstairs level offering additional seating, pool, and pinball.

So be sure to check out any of these delightful biker bar offerings in the Chicago area, whether you’re a local or just visiting. Just be sure never to drink and ride!
